Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos has sought to help create opportunities for all young people -especially those living in underserved areas- to grow and thrive. Panagiotis Giannakis has sought to motivate the new generations of kids to find their passions and inspire them to develop healthy lifestyles, starting in the city where he was born and raised. These two visions have joined together to drive an ambitious mission.

A Community Hub
in the Making
A brand-new, inviting 5,300-square-meter space to host Field of Life’s activities will be built in the Nikaia neighborhood of Athens. The facility, which will be open only to children participating in Field of Life programs, will comprise indoor and outdoor recreation areas and study spaces, sports facilities, and the organization’s offices. The name of our new home, expected to open in 2023, will be Field of Life - Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), in recognition of the fact that it was created through an exclusive grant from SNF.
